How should I prepare for my treatment?

Before entering the sauna it is recommended to drink at least 2 8 oz of water. The better hydrated you are the better your body is prepared to heat up. 
For optimal results you should refrain from wearing perfumes, lotions or oils as they can impact how you sweat.

What should I wear?

Your session will be in a closed private room. Wearing work out clothing is the best option. A minimum clothing of shorts and a sports bra for women is required in the sauna. There should be no metals (snaps, zippers or underwires) jewelry should also be removed and placed in designated spot outside of the sauna.

Are there any contraindications?

Everyone who enters the sauna should consult a physician prior to use. 
Pregnant women should not enter the sauna as it increases the temperature in the body and is unsafe for the unborn child. 
Individuals with significant inflammation should also avoid the sauna.
Individuals who have acute bleeding this includes women durning mensuration. 
Individuals who are intoxicated will also not be allowed to enter the sauna.

What should I expect during my session?

The sauna is 30 minutes or more of you time. Most people will sit back and relax to enjoy some peace and quiet during their session. Inside the sauna there are speakers that play quiet peaceful music. The lights inside the sauna also have benefit and are used for therapeutic healing. A list of the light settings will be offered to further customize your session.
